Assignment Name and Brief Description of Main Deliverables or Outputs

The project supports state strategies and measures implemented by the Government of Tajikistan to reintegrate migrant workers into the domestic labour market. The needs of youth and female migrant workers and their families are also taken into account. The project provides reintegration measures that impact positively on employment and income and address current market needs.

The focus is on two fields of activity:

(Output 1) Qualification offers for labour migrants and of labour migration affected households. Output 1 aims to improve the services for (further) development of individual skills of migrant workers and their family members, which are short-term vocational training, certification of acquired qualifications or training in financial literacy and business start-ups economic integration and improve the employment and income situation.

(Output 2) Capacity development of state and civil society organisations and counselling facilities. Output 2 aims to strengthen the capacities for demand-oriented counselling of to strengthen migrant workers nationwide. By strengthening these capacities, it is intended to to enable the target group to use relevant counselling services close to their place of residence for reintegration.
