Assignment Name and Brief Description of Main Deliverables or Outputs

The objective of extension is to identify material climate change related risks to the Project connected with potential first-order impacts and propose mitigating structural and non-structural improvements. To achieve the objective, on the basis of a more thorough assessment of climate risks to this specific Project, the Consultant will provide recommendations for improving the climate resilience of the Project and support technical negotiations with the client which is the Ministry of Transport (the “Client”), and its designers and other consultants for the Project (the “Designers”). A technical site visit will include:
(a) Examine local physical conditions and particular local conditions for the engineering and design of critical structures,
(b) Follow up on matters of concern identified in Task 1; and
(c) Seek any outstanding information.
